Thanks! Well, my pockets have very firm bottoms in them. Just use my collecting dollars available to the fullest. No other way to fly if you've got a wife you want to keep.
Collecting them? Contact Frank Leone, he wrote the real book on 2 cent pieces. and is the expert on them
Santinidollar does his interpretation of" Alabama Shakes" Oh I don't want to fight no more....don't want to fight no more..... just need a new proof coin..... some new bling bling.......
I got this Franklin with my eBay Bucks in Jan. 2016 Almost FBL except for a small nick on the bottom line.
New Barber 25C 1898 MS62 Just got this one in hand today. These are seller pics but they convey the character of the coin well. I really like the blue toning around the obverse rim. This is replacing my previous Barber 25C type coin since the look matches up very nicely with my 1876 seated 25C and 1835 B-6 bust 25C.
Well I had to sell some of the coins I didn't plan on selling, but this isn't something you see everyday. I got to photograph this for him, and he was nice enough to hold it for me until I had the funds. Will be attempting to cross to PCGS when I get it along with these... NGC VF20, it's the 1806/5, want it on the label, and hoping to get a boost. Best eye appeal I've ever seen on a VF20. Love the colors on this one. 1840/1840, NGC shows a POP of 2, I want it cleaned and variety placed onto the label. Love the color on this one. Don't know if it'll cross but it's worth a shot. Target toning on a 1866 Half, yes please!
A bump in grade on the 1806 wouldn't surprise me at all. And that 2 cents... wow. All beautiful coins!
Found this SLQ today while metal detecting an old park; the date is worn off, but I'm still happy to have it.
Cross grading from NGC to PCGS will cost you a 10 % surcharge of the assessed value of each coin . That may be a lot more than the grading itself.I personally would crack them out an send them in raw.
