Paddy I asked if that is a note worth saving, I dont have a scanner and i'm new currency collector.

 

The reason I stated what's the book is because I tell members to use less distracting backgrounds. Also, you don't necessarily need to scan when posting pictures of notes. Especially if it's just a star note. Considering the date I don't see anything special or of value to it. Some people collect them all and some just would spend it.. I say spend it.

I took a small piece of cardboard and folded it into a triangle shaped stand. You can lean the paper currency against it and take pictures.

I read there is the high note, and there is the note that has several of the same numbers.

Very few modern (series 2006 and up) $1 star notes in circulated condition are worth more than face value. The OP's note is from a massive run of 6,400,000 notes. Not rare by anyone's standard.

The 2006 $1 mismatched serial star note @Dollarsavr found is a well known error, and usually brings good money, even in circulated condition.

I had not seen these specimens. I will ad them to my list of reported notes. I keep track of the items by serial number along with my other two... Thanks for the info.

 

Including your note, I've got 41 recorded serials. Weirdly enough, one of them is _6713811, consecutive to your note! The overall serial range suggests that some 10,000 of these probably escaped the BEP.
