The "9" at the end of 1959 seems more curled. Also the FG on the reverse seems doubled anls well as the lincoln inside the building. Is this fake?

So it's not a fake? Just regular 1953? I didn't want to add this to my album if it's a fake.

Ask yourself the question "Why would someone go to the trouble of making a fake 1959 Lincoln cent?"

Read someone's article that said that the mint did not make lincoln pennies in 1959 and continued from 1960. Bad article?

If you remember, I would be very interested in reading it.... as written, it simply makes no sense.

I will search for it tonight when I get home because I wouldn't just think the mint stopped making pennies without someone providing a good reason which I remember it being very general.

Yes they did mint Cents in 1959. 1958 was the last year for the Wheat Reverse and 1959 was the first year of the Lincoln Memorial Reverse. Basic Cent knowledge.
I want to share this webpage with you - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_cent

And YES your Cent is real!

You need to get your facts straight before you post this on CoinTalk.. if such an article exists then it's a lie and a joke.
What you maybe read was concerning a one of a kind 1959 Cent that had a Wheat Reverse. It exist but has been determined to be a fake. You can read an article I want to share with you here - http://www.pcgs.com/News/The-Mystery-Of-The-1959-d-Mule-Lincoln-Cent

This could be another unique thread. Has nothing to do with your 1959 question.
