And they didn't approve of what you had for dinner last night. Based on what I saw from the drone cameras, you could use some more carrots on your plate.
If some people only knew... It is virtually impossible to stay "off grid" these days. Why are all those apps free? Why is Farcebook free? For the exact reasons that I don't use them... Meanwhile, back on the hobby and the recent expansion - it's all a good thing. My wife is now addicted to what she calls "weird Morgans" and has started building a small collection. Overdates and re-punched mint marks, VAM's, weird toners. While I'm trying to build clean and balanced sets - she's looking at the opposite end of the spectrum. We now have "several" 1900 O/CC Morgans, and for why I have no idea... "She likes them" she says. Good enough for me!
You don't know the half of it... She has to put up with me! NOBODY should be subjected to that - day after day!!!
Honestly Brett? Any women who would live with a man sporting a 'Breezly Bruin' cap has to be special.........
My optimism for the Hobby of Kings is unbounded. The Internet has created a vast portal connecting those who know with those who might want to, making our shared passion accessible to everyone (even if accidentally, which are the most fortuitive and productive connections) who wishes to learn more. The opportinities are endless, and it only remains for those of us who desire to work towards the future to exert 3 or 4 calories a day at the keyboard to that end. I'd do it alone if I had to, but I don't because I'm not the only one with this passion. You want to improve the state of the hobby? Type.
I started out around 9 years old. Later on, I sold out, restarted, and sold out again. I'm on my second restart now. Exactly. The way I've heard it said is that if a company is trying to make money, but giving you a free service (Facebook, Yahoo!, etc.), then you're the product, not the consumer. Pics! I'd especially like to see some of the "weird toners." I'm surprised she hasn't caught the error bug by now if that's what she likes.
Huh, and here I thought I had a monopoly on collecting unusual toners @Brett_in_Sacto Oh and on the how does Google know debate, you guys with Samsung and Vizio smart tvs know they are literally recording your voices when you speak around your tv and selling the recordings to 3rd party marketers right?
I suggest doing some research on your model # and seeing if there's a kill function. Aside from unplugging your router that is but even if you killed it's connection I wonder if they will still record and bank the info until it's connected again. This is scarry George Orwell type stuff
