Finished up this weekend's 2 halves boxes.
2x 40%. 1 90% (1964).

 

Another really nice day...I hit up half a dozen banks and found 18 40% silver halves. Then I dumped them and found 3 silver Rosies, 1 Merc (1944-S) in EF, and a 1951 Washington quarter, AU/UNC (with full mint luster as far as I can see) in the reject chute!

23 more silver coins in the bag!

One box of BWR Halves..Nothing. Just got a box of dimes. Been having better luck with those.

 

Stopped at a random branch today, they had 1 box to sell me.

 

OK, today I went to my local PNC bank and I purchased 4 50 cent rolls of pennies.
I opened all of them to find out they were all 2016 D pennies in BU. Bummer.

 

I havnt seen any in circulation yet, might be worth it to hold on to them.

 

Finished 4 boxes of halves today. Was pretty happy.

Box 3: 5 90%ers (63D Ben, 4x64 Kens), 9x40%ers, 77S Proof
Box 4: 2x40%ers, 78S Proof

 

Yeah I'm hoping to maybe even sell them here on CT! maybe $1 or $2 how does that sound?

I was keeping all my NIFC's until I had an entire box of 'em and realized that there's a seemingly endless supply of them out there. I released them back into the wild and bought another box to search instead, worth more to me that way.

Friday was another great day! The teller at the drive thru window had $20 in halves. I couldn't see her, but I could hear her drop the coins two at a time into an envelope for me. Each time she did I heard the ring of silver, but I kept thinking maybe I was hearing the same coin get hit over and over. Nope, out of 40 halves 31 were silver. I added two more from another bank for a very nice day:



8 1964's
25 65-69's
and three Rosies from a box of dimes

6.8 more ounces. I wish this roll would never end but I know it will...
