Picked this set up at a meltdown shop for $20 today in a nice capital holder. I know it's hard to judge from photos but does this look like a cameo or deep cameo to you guys. Numismedia lists- Pf65cam: $35 & Pf65: Dcam $187..... Thanks for the responses and votes!
I would guess at least cameo but shooting a photo through a plastic holder presents a problem on grading this as I see defects in the plastic. Hard to tell if the small spots are on the holder or the coin.
The devices are frosted but I'm having a problem with a feel for the fields. It is far better than many Franklins that have no frosting.
Do you even know what cameo means? Here are a couple I pulled from the bay (Sidenote: their asking 2k for the Dcams)
Maybe you could take an image that shows the cam. In the ones you took the bottom of the bell does not look cam and the bottom of Franklins coat does not look cam. It takes both sides with no breaks in the frost. Maybe you see that in hand. I don't see it in your images. I do see a really pretty coin.
There are no breaks in the frost here, just curves, downward, upward, inward, thus, creating the dark spots you see. To humor you, and for my sanity- If need be, I can tilt the coin 173° so you can see the bottom bust line down where initials are, and, underneath the bottom set of bell lines.
Interpreting your images, it looks at least CAM. DCAM is hard to tell from the pics, but in hand it may be.
