    Got the color right on this.

    The color doesn't look right to me. Are you suggesting that they are toned, or does your white balance need adjusting? I had several of the 1999 SBA Proofs, and they were "blast white".

    That's how it looks in hand...yes it is toned

    Never saw a proof SBA with that kind of look from toning - any ideas how that happened?

    I don't have a clue, I did buy the coin from the mint, then sent it to ANACS.

    I believe you may have something. Get a sac dollar and compare the color and put the coin in a flip and don't touch the thing! There were a few sba dollars struck on brass intended for sac dollars. This may be one.

    The other option is its a gold plated coin from one of those shister promotions. I do believe you did say you got it from the mint though.... Not a proof though, no wire rim. Compare the rims of the graded coin to your coin.

    I did get it from the mint when they first came out. It is a proof as stated on the ANACS slab.
    The coin in the second post is the regular strike non proof
