Not to mention at the grading events the graders who can make the high end calls are there. Sending things through the office may not get to the right people. Mine is a 62 Fuelie, pretty stock as I like the stock cars. The old Vettes definitely get the looks.
Actually, at most coin shows - except for the few that offer on-site grading - the staff is typically lower level individuals (business people) not graders.
I was talking about on-site grading events. These events have the top notch graders who can make the high end calls.
And they are typically busy OFF-site doing the grading, not hanging out on the bourse floor talking to attendees. (If they are going to be doing grading they need controlled lighting conditions, and not all the distracting noise from the bourse floor, or interruptions from people wanting to ask questions.)
