Yes, it’s the real thing, an 1888-O Morgan Silver Dollar. This is called the Hot Lips variety. Not to be confused with Major Margaret Houlihan on Mash. Lol A total mintage of this date and mint mark is 12,150,000 and it’s in the Red Book. The price was right so I couldn’t resist. I think she’s is very good condition since she worked. In the last photo you can see, even with the wear, the prominent doubling of her lips and chin. A nice variety.
Sometime late yesterday or last night I hit 49,000 likes. I think it was the thread I did with my Trilobites.
Very nice Hot Lips!! I wouldn't call them hot, but I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I would call it the Stallone Lips variety if I could name it.
I do love me some shrimp...in fact had jumbo prawns and spaghetti tonight...keep the meat ball.... make mine with shrimp. Oh pardon me didn't know you were from the sportsmans paridise Pam...
Oh yes, mom use to cook spaghetti every Sunday. She would use shrimp at times and sometimes crab. Omg! You had some good Cajun Italian food.
Hey this is news here from the land of pleasent living..... And it happened a few years back.. Port of Baltimore ordered 4 more crains for container operations. Why IDK they are from China...duh...we make steel her to ya all.... Anyway if you ever crossed the Chesapeake bay on the bridge or the Key bridge the harbour crossing.. on Saturday they need to close both bridges as the crains are arriving.. Probably sitting off Annapolis now in the anchorage as they need to wait for low tide .. As the crains depending on tide will pass within inches of a foot under the road decking of both bridges. Can you imagine the pilots nerves? Inches... of hitting...on a huge ship that even at dead speed wouldnt stop for a mile.
See these....>>>> They be from your neck of the woods soft crabs at one of my favorite restaurants love me some soft jimmies. Man that good eating
I make a real Italian spaghetti using plum tomatoes, fresh garlic , basil, from strache....Years ago a waiter on a ship whom we had met before..on another cruise... Was so happy to see us again ...went into the kitchen and made it for our dinner...omg! Then he gave me momma secrets on how to make...it. he used all the sea food on board.
