My first time roll hunting had a blast lol

Hey ok I had fun searching not sure if that is good or bad lol. Attached is some 1960 pennies that was in there and 1941 1954 S pennies also. I got to do some researching on them but I was excited and wanted to show everyone. I am totally addicted.

For some reason I’ve always liked the look of the 1960 cent

 

I know so do I most of the ones I have are like the shiny ones above.

 

You're not gonna get rich, but very nice finds.

 

I keep all the red and lustrous 1960s and early 1970s cents when I find them. They aren't as easy to find anymore so I hope one day, with good preservation, I can keep them in that shape.

 

Looks like you've got a '60, '60 D, & '60 S small date. Awesome find. Did you say you got them while roll hunting? I want to get rolls from where you get rolls.

Yep went to the bank and got ten dollars worth. I still want to do some research on them since I am so new to this.

 

I am in the process of putting together rolls by date/mm, swapping out the worst for the best as I go along. Those shiny specimens would qualify!!

 

Mine would qualify? Wow I am glad I save the old shiny coins.

Anything you do with coins that brings you fun is a good thing. Being excited and wanting to show them is also a good thing. And being addicted is even better.

 

It is the part of being addicted to it that scares me. I want to coin stuff instead of household stuff.

 

I have both, coins and antiques. I also have rocks, minerals and fossils.

 

I saw that on one of your posts. That stuff just amazes me I would love to go out and find any of it.

It is normal I was just saying I would rather do coin stuff than household chores.

Idea. Make your significant other do the household chores!

 

I really like that idea, I will do the cooking and he can do the cleaning so I can do coins.
