Do tell. I know of a 1990 case in Colorado where the property owner was fined and put on probation, and a 1971 Iowa case where a man was held civilly responsible for bobby trapping an unoccupied house, but nothing out of Kansas.
It was 30 or so years ago. I read it in the newspaper, but I can't remember all of the details. Chris
Apparently, this $50 gold coin, among many others, was found in the rubble of Ground Zero, and it's graded at MS-69. One can only wonder exactly where it was before it was found in the rubble, and especially what safe was used to store the coin - I'll take that one! Maybe it was a large commercial bank safe in the basement, though I heard the gold there was "looted". http://www.ebay.com/itm/1997-World-...e-911-Coin-Certified-PCGS-MS-69-/391224129713
Nice coin! I went with 2001 for the symbolism though. This was my first "large" gold purchase. The history that was thrust upon these was epic and I feel a high sense of patriotism each and every time I look at her. I will sell every gold coin I have before I sell this one...
