They look accurately graded to me at MS 63. Remember, Gold is soft and shows contact marks easily. If I were going to pick one of the two, I would get the 1911, as it is nicer. However, neither one is a 64.
Depends on the grade. I have posted detailed historical premiums on the MS-65 common premiums in other threads . It was down to about 50-60% last Spring but I haven't checked it lately. That's down from premiums of 100-300% from years and decades ago.
If you like the coin, and are buying as a type coin and not strictly a gold "investment," then I think the 11-D looks very nice and reasonable priced (if it is that good looking in hand.)

Yes, and a bit out of the loop on coins the last few quarters....this is an expensive habit to sustain while job searching !! BTW, I was wrong on the premiums for Saints during the bubble...it was 600-800%, total insanity.
