Finally got the 21-D to complete my set of Walkers. My first full set of any US coin series - grades for most of the coins are GOOD to FINE with a few grading at XF to AU.

I have them all in 2X2's but would like your thoughts on what to keep them in - if in an album I want both sides of the coins to be viewable.

And here's my 21-D, paid 199$ for it, G-04 or G-06?? (her dress does have some lines on it, just can't see in the pic)

They would look really nice in a Dansco album.

Thanks, I was thinking circulated Franklins, I already have 5 of the dates 48,48-D, 49-D, 59, 62-D, & 63-D - won't cost an arm and a leg to finish, can get them mostly in F to AU easily, and they are 90% silver!

Thanks for the information - I really like the looks of the Dansco albums but never had a reason to purchase one. I have to order more 50 cent 2X2's anyhow so I'll include a Dansco in with my order - thanks again for the idea!!

Thanks for the congrats, and yes I'm taking Larry's idea and getting a Dansco album for them!

They really do look nice in a Dansco. I have my 16s, 21p, 21d, and 21s in PCGS holders.

It's funny how many of us, myself included love to get after the series with larger silver coins. I finished my Walker set last year with the 21 PDS in a basic fine. I still need the Lincoln VDBS to complete that set but did get the 14D in fine and bolstered it a bit with B.U. 31 PDS. At my age I'm finding it harder and harder to complete the key coins in all the series, something I should have done during my working career.

Wow! Congrats! Takes me back to my 'kid collecting' days when we didn't care about condition but reveled in the fact that we 'plucked' one out of the change.........:)

How long did it take you to complete? I've had some of the coins for 25 years but I only seriously worked toward the set for about 3 years.

I just remember as a 6 year old kid spending the weekends at my Grandfathers. He had a collection of Walkers that I thought was really cool having them "OLD" coins. So I collected the set thinking about him - plus I remember walking to the railroad tracks by his house and climbing the poles and twisting the glass insulators off of them - there were no wires running.

Plus watching Big Time Wrestling on Sunday morning (Johnny Powers was my favorite) and shooting a Daisy BB gun into a Readers Digest in his TV room - Damn, the good old days when you never thought about growing up!!!!
