Now I have been researching getting a newer panda coin. Haven't gotten One in a while . I hear talk that they don't put the purity mark on them. The Chinese do counterfeit there own currency. And fake pandas so exsist . has any one purchased raw pandas and found them fake
I never buy them. Not until the government [China] puts a stop to all the fakes that they (individuals not the government) are producing.
The new 2016 Pandas do include the purity marking and weight, although they're now 30 grams versus an ounce.
See my Boeing coin show post, were still trying to decide if that one is real, in 2015 they went with 30g coins, they didn't put it on that year, 2016 has 999 ag 30g on it.
i avoid buying raw coins period .. i like certified coins cause they've already been verified weighted an are authenticated
I Buy nothing but raw cause I intend to sale, I only buy US coins, those graded slabed coins our nice but ten years from now they might sale for the exact same price.
which is like 92% silver acording to the chart 1 oz is 28.3495 grams silver so these coins are 1.01-1.02 oz of silver..
