Again, is there a "top this" thread or forum already out there I'm missing or do members start their own?

 

To the best of my knowledge, there's no existing thread. I'm of the opinion that new threads are better than bumping old threads, unless you can find an ongoing one with posts within the last couple months.

 

Thanks Dave. Yes, I agree. However, there are some folks out here on CT that seem to get bent out of shape if a subject is or has already been discussed on another thread somewhere. I didn't want to insult anyone or step on any toes by starting a new thread. Thanks for your feedbck!

 

Yeah, there are people around here like that. The way to deal with them is not to deal with them. Operate as if they don't exist. Optimism and a clear conscience regarding your status as a gentleman are an impenetrable shield.

If everyone whose interest is in numismatics and not curmudgeonry does that, they'll disappear soon enough.
