What is this?

Awhile back I posted about some coins I had received. Since then I have been researching and reading books, and reading here. I found a few of these in the coins I inherited. I don't know if they are cuff links or what they are? I know the picture will not be to your standards but its what ya get!

Im leaning towards a real neat cufflink

 

I'm good with cufflink. Pretty neat, especially if you have matched pairs with the same coins.

 

There are six of them total. Didn't know if they were cufflinks or some fancy thing coin people did

 

If there are six of them, they could also be studs similar to those that are used as buttons on (formal) tux shirts.

Weird

 

This is quite normal for the 19th century. Coins were made into necklaces, bracelets, and cufflinks.

 

Even before that. The Romans made jewelry out of coins, too.

If you have 6 of them, they could be button covers, given the dates on the coins.
