3 Cent Nickel FS-3N-1869-302 RPD

A lot goin on on this coin. I think the doubling is machine boubling, but I do believes I gots an RPD. Wuduyathink?

Date does look like a re-punch

 

I'm seeing repunching on the 6 and 9, and possibly the 8. Nice find.

 

Yes, those are the markers for FS-3N-1869-302.

well after reading that it looks like that may explain the doubling. This would indicate the coin was struck earlier in the life of that die if I read that right.
