It's possible for grease and debris to build up (partially!) in the depths of a device such as the eagle's head and fall away only to be struck into the field of a coin. Chris
No, not really. But thanks for asking. Just wanted to put it out there. I guess you saw a couple of my other threads out there. Just confirming that these types of mint error's/anomalies are apparently very common. Hell, if it's in "my" collection.......it's common!
