1884 s morgan AU 55. Sorta key date lol. This date has a crazy price spread and very interesting story. Enjoy!

Well, it is one of the extreme conditional rarities in MS condition--it can be one of the most expensive Morgans in MS due to its extremely low survival rate as an uncirculated coin.

Nice new Ngc Holder for this 1884-S one of harder dates for a high grade to be found affordably.

    Morgan dollar!

Yes, u are correct. I have only seen one in MS condition in person, my entire life. They are EXTREMELY rare!

I have seen a few. I owned a MS 61 that was sold a while ago.

I need this date and mm for my collection. I'm struggling to find the right AU to add. Looks like you did well with your purchase. Congrats!

Modest start to 2016. But it was fun to swipe it at auction. Ought to arrest me for shoplifting...:woot:

You know it. There are 2010 strikes as well and maybe other years so I'm not sure how it all effects mintage, premiums etc. GC has another for a BIN of $1400 and past ebay sales have it at $1300-1500. Once I have it in hand I'll start a dedicated thread. I'm just dumbfounded I got it for less than freaking spot!

The are also silver versions. I may need to pick up one.

I own a Silver version. It's quite nice. It's 1.5 oz of silver.

Nice score on the Gold one!

No time for a photo, but I got a 1936 Buffalo Nickel in change a few days ago. It shocked me. It even has a clear date

Hard date to find MS-60+ .
MS 1921-D are pricey to say the least.
