Found coin in grama's jewelry.

    Hello,
    My Grama passed away 2 years ago and while going through her boxes of jewelry this week I found this coin. I know nothing about coins or collecting but since she had it tucked away I assume it meant something to her or had some value. I'd appreciate any feedback you have!

    1929 Quarter Eagle. It's made out of gold. I don't own any of these so unsure of the value. Condition looks like it would be AU.

    For sure! I actually have another of this coins that is a pendant on a necklace the same Grama had given me. Treasures for sure!

    Realistically maybe around 300$ in AU - 532,000 minted.

    That's a beautiful coin! You need to put it in a protective holder like a 2x2 flip.

    No mint marks on any 1929... all philly. After blowing the pics up, looks high AU to low MS to me. Value of $250-$300 probably. Welcome!
