I got a deal on the set . Not great examples but nevertheless ! I PAID $225 FOR THESE (2) MORGAN'S . Thank you for taking a look !
No one can tell you if you got a good deal or not without seeing both sides. Buy the coin, not the slab. Chris
Assuming they're fairly graded, I'd call it "a little over full retail" for the pair. The 1892-CC is ~$150 retail, and the VAM-4 is pretty common in that grade range and not more than a $50-ish coin.
If one really wants to get confused, compare the PCGS and NGC prices for the same grade. Often it seems as if one is dealing with two completely different coins. Research those auction prices!
You have to remember that PCGS establishes their own price guide. It's sort of like the Coin Vault telling you their slabbed coins are extremely valuable. Chris
I work a normal job that take's up my time ! I buy coin for the fun of it !!! I see that CoinTalk is for coin dealer's/OLD time collectors !
Thank you ! Do you know of a REAL coin conversation web site I'm done with the SAME members year after year ???
No disrespect to you ! I am 41 years old my self ! It's just ridicule from most so I I don't belong . THIS WEBSITE HAS BECOME A HIGH DOLLAR SHOWDOWN . You all have fun .
CoinTalk is for every type of coin collector big or small. sometimes people can be so rude.... it scares away many that just wanna talk about coins without being attacked for the littlest things. I own many low dollar coins that I like too.
That happens, it only takes one to scare another away. Too bad this is an amazing site, and to everyone thank you for an amazing 2015!
Yes it WAS ! When I first found this site I could ask any question big or small & I got a straight answer . But all you get now is a mix of DRUNK"S Edited: Language rules. ! Don't get me wrong there are plenty of great people on CoinTalk they are hiding in the bushes at this point !
