Im working on a set of Mercury dimes. It's a 2 page dansco, first page qualifications are eye appeal and diagonal bands. Second page is blast white gem BU. It's a fun inexpensive set with only a few more expensive keys. Today I came across this one and pulled the trigger... opinions welcome and appreciated as always. Thanks! 20160103_155722-1.jpg 20160103_155809-1.jpg

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I like the color of it. There are a couple of marks that would put me off (especially the large one on the reverse above "One"), but overall it is a pleasant coin.

Based on the Rev it would be a VF if you overlooked that the top diagonal bands were nearly flat. The Obs shows a lot of wear on the tops of letters in LIBERTY and the motto seemed to read IN COD WE TRUST. (this might set well in Gloucester, MA.)

I like your strategy for this set. Nice eye appealing 1921. Agree with the hit on the reverse, but, IMO, for your collecting strategy, it's not a huge deal.
