Thanks Paddy for making a fun contest to enter 2016 with. Although I still have 3 hours until 2016 here.

 

The image you provided is a little distorted by the camera lens used to image the note, but I still think from the overlay that the top of the oval would peek through... could be wrong, I suppose. Paddy's tricky!

 

See in my examples, I used Photoshop, made the note about 35% transparent, on its own layer and scaled to match Paddy's contest image as close as possible.

 

Not gonna lie, I posted my answer before I kissed my wife. I think I am in the dog house now. Woof.

 

I don't think the prize is worth it if ur in the dog house...

 

I can't wait to see who won, and how they figured it out.

One guess so the Contest continues until the correct amount is posted. Otherwise you all be like oh $20.09 ,20.10, 20.12 until you narrowed it down. That's not a contest it's a guessing game.

 

No one ever said I was in my right mind or not How ever I like , as this has ever one thinking and stumped .
Someone here will figure it out . .... but remember I said we all are sinners as a clue. keep plugging away.

Another tidbit all you see in the photo was on my desk... now put away.

 

Maybe I should have done some math. Though I know that if I spent hours doing boring math (like I once did for another contest), that even then it is nearly impossible to get the answer right, just missing one nickel will make you lose. I'm just doing this to have fun and know I will probably be far off so for my guess, showed previously in this thread, I just threw out a random number. In conclusion, either way I lose...
