Tuskegee airmen token

    I,am posting this token because my 16 year old daughter won this award in her AFJROTC class,and it was presented to her by one of the last living tuskegee airmen.LT.COL.Leo r gray. Image771.jpg Image770.jpg

    Congratulations to her for being awarded it and you for raising her! I did JROTC and it was really great in providing discipline and structure in a chaotic high school world. If she intends to join the military after high school, do your best to convince her to get a degree and commission first.

    I love that medal and the men who inspired it. Congratulations to your daughter and it must have been a true honor to have one of the last surviving members of the group to present it to her...I'll bet she was thrilled. :)

    Congrats to your Daughter ! Cool medal too . I thought it ended (segregation in the armed forces after WWII , didn't know it went on to '49 .
