Yesterday was a good day and so was today - a single silver coin - a 1964-D Quarter. I love finding silver.

silver quarters are the best. My last good coinstar find was a 64 Washington.

One lonely 2009 dime stuck near the hinge area of the credit union's coinstar yesterday morning. Still, free money is free money. :)

11 cents US, 26 cents Canadian, and a New Zealand dollar. All in the coinstar in Walmart in Frisco.

Coinstar find. The lowest grade wheat cent that I have ever seen. Think this is PO1??? Is it worth something graded???

I don't see a date, so no. What if it used to be a 1909-S VDB though?

Single solitary little dime laying on the floor in front of the coinstar, forlorn and all alone - oh and it is a '64-D

My first coinstar silver of the year, a 61 dime. Also, two 2015 quarters and a 2015 dime. The last few times I've found clad in the coinstar they have been 2015 coins. Has anyone heard of the coinstars having problems accepting the newer coins?

They only have problems if the machine cannot take a big dump of coins. It is always best to slowly place the coins in the hopper, but most people don't do that. Sometimes I can go by the machines and find literally dozens of cents, dimes etc because someone dumped all at once and neglected to check the reject slot.

    Not that I mind...

My only silver American quarter Coinstar find was a well worn 1936. I also found a 1966 Canadian quarter a while back.

The guy in front of me at the coinstar this morning left a 1985 quarter and this other "thing" rattling around in the machine. They popped out when I loaded it up with nickels. Anyone have any ideas what I'm looking at?
