I have been out of the country for a while, but now I am back home. I got both of these while I was gone. The first is 1309 A.H. If I read it correctly, Afghanistan One Rupee, second is a 1974 Bhutan 15 ngultrum, big silver coin, around 30mm. It looks much better in hand than the photos, photos don't show luster because of the lighting.

I just bought these ones. The seller had these sitting at a buy it now for just over melt. So I shot him an offer that was actually below melt, I figured I might as well try and he accepted it. With shipping it's maybe $1-2 over melt but still a steal!

Last week I got three 1942 florins for about $4 because the seller had them listed as 2 pence instead of 2 shillings. I figured surely someone else would notice, but nope.

Yea if it's not opened with clear surface and Strong strike MS 68-70 is what I've seen comeback at my old store. Charles and I would bet each other on what coin grade would return.
Before he bought me out back in 2012. I don't miss opening return graded coins.

I finally got one! The 1942 Calcutta mint australian penny. Normally there would be an I under the kings head for a mint mark but there was an error where the I wasn't there. I've been looking for one for so long and now I have one! Only missing 3 coins now.

Here is another new one for me from a couple days ago. All the listing said was: "Ethiopia silver coin." It hasn't been delivered yet, but i think it is E.E. 1895, 1 Ghersh. eth2.jpg eth1.jpg

This is the newest of a series of Mexico's 20 Centavos commemorating the Armed Forces. I haven't really collected them but found this one interesting. It commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the Mexican Air Force. One doesn't really think of Mexico as having an Air Force. I was surprised to find that the first Air force of mexico was started by Carranza in 1915. It was called the Arma de Aviación Militar or the Military Aviation Arm. I think I'll go back and find the 2013 which commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the Armed Forces.

For those who are interested the Center is Silver plated Alpaca, 0.65 Copper, 0.10 Nickel and 0.25 Zinc. The outer ring is 0.92 Copper, 0.06 Aluminum and 0.02 Nickel.
