It's no worse than the ancient coin inside a candle offer. Get yoour $20 candle with an ancient Greek or Roman coin worth up to $1,000 USD inside. And you know this is genuine because the description says 'Rare coins. Very rare and expensive coins.' http://www.ebay.com/itm/Treasure-co...106959?hash=item1c5e6a448f:g:v~cAAOSwnipWXkmO
I recently auctioned off an NWT item and it went for over $100 plus comfortable (for me) calculated shipping.. The tag said $49.99. I thought about snipping off the tag ... but I did list it as NWT. Been over a month and no feedback yet. No news is good news
Even real ones aren't worth much. I have a bag full of real Northern Song Dynasty and T'ang Dynasty Cash coins. I only pay 25 cents each for them from my coin shops junk bin.
Some of his other ancient coins are not that bad in terms of price, they are what I would call "high retail prices," but still within what would be considered ok. I have no idea why he priced that one so high. The highest price I've been able to find on this coin was $1,200 at one auction, where it seems some eager bidders probably got carried away. Pretty much every other auction data on this coin type I've found has this coin selling for around $250-$300.
Here's one by a person near and dear to our hearts. http://www.ebay.com/itm/coins-picteals-Teachmind-NEW-DISCOVERY-/221894874896?hash=item33a9f71710 I guess he took the new discovery stuff we said on here seriously. "teachmind Picteals NEW DISCOVERY and I am the discoverer Raul Ramos II 9/23/2015 this 1988D quarter is one of the first discovered by Mr. Ramos. it has a Picteal of Bat-man and what appears to be Superman. This is on a scale 0 thru 10, 10 being the best its a 0.8 observe and a 3.6 reverse. oh even that these are low dose not mean its the grade of the coin. I do have 9.5 picteals."
