I picked up 20 rolls of 2015 presidential dollars in the original mint wrappers from the bank today for face. I'm not sure what to do with them now. If I should try and open them and look for errors coins or just leave them in the mint wrappers and see if I can find someone who is interested in them. Any thoughts if there even worth keeping.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

Do the wrappers look like this?

If not, they're not original mint rolls.
Any other paper means that they were rolled by a private contractor outside the mint.

If it were me, and I paid face value for them, I would open the rolls to see if there were any error or variety coins in them. It's one thing if you had paid a premium for the rolls, but since you didn't, you can't lose!

They are the black mint rolls, someone bought a few boxes from the mint and turned in the leftovers he had to the bank.

I agree. Open them as you've zero to lose.

I likely will, not really sure what to look for in them besides the missing lettering on the rim or blank plackets, I don't think there's any verity coins to them.

You'll never know until you carefully examine them.

Went through them, did not find any that were worth keeping, for being mint rolled they still have a lot of bag marks on them.
