Like another bad sequel of a series that should have gotten canned long ago, in a galaxy far far away....
There's two options: Learn it the hard way or learn it the expensive way. I'm certain many would be keen to teach for a fee and put it towards buying more coins! No one is going to stop you from buying coins. But if you whinge about budget issues - do the maths first.
It's really easy. Just don't go overboard. Set a budget based of what you can afford and stick with it. Aim at coming in under budget. When times are tough you reduce your budget for coins.
There's plenty of time to collect coins. Jeez, I collected them as a kid, then got busy with life. Collecting was always in the back of my mind, though. I finally restarted nearly 50 years later after retiring -- and, fortunately, having the money to do so in an organized fashion. I am having a blast. Whenever you can be financially confident enough to collect with enjoyment, the coins will still be there. Guaranteed!
Wedding? Are nuptials on the horizon for dear Tim? If so he can throw the coin budget out the window. By the way, where is Tim? No responses to our solid and snarky advice........
No, it should be sooner than later. He posted a bunch of coin books to sell (about 25-30$ cheaper than he thought they should go on ebay. But perhaps with shipping of 25-30 added on that would be about the same if he has to abide by ebay's rules on shipping costs). Supposedly getting out of collecting. Now wants back in. And a typical post. I somehow think he will be here frequently still. Yum, popcorn!
Wedding? Maybe what's left of the two halves of his brain have finally decided to unite in everlasting bliss. Timmah!!!
I have a great idea how you can make some decent money, real quick. It's Christmas time, and UPS needs young guys to sort packages, and load trucks. It is good work , and any guy can do it that's halfway in shape.
That's so unfair to the 99 percenters. We need to even things up by making the 1 percent who hold all the wealth in this country budget for coins for the 99 percent who don't have it. And also we need to put someone who has vision in charge. Yeah, that's the ticket!
That's awesome. I collected as a kid and then restarted when I was in college. Something about a childhood hobby always sticks in the back of your mind as you get older.
Learn all your coin grades. Get a Blue Book and don't go over the prices shown. You can do quite well and make money if you stay within your budget
