For all those following another recent thread, I guess those aren't planchet striations either.

Nope, no planchet / roller striations. Just a beautiful coin.

Yeah, a few. Nothing like that other coin, and I really like the die crack on this one-- gives it character.

 

I love this coin. Despite the mark on the face, I still wouldn't mind this coin as a low end MS66. The luster looks like it is off the charts.

 

Agreed. I would not be surprised to see that coin with an NGC MS 66 ribbon!!!

 

Come on @jtlee321, what is the grade of that bad boy?

 

To all who have replied regarding the '82-CC. It most definitely is planchet striations.

I was not posting here to stir the hornet's nest. Simply to post a recent Morgan. That other thread turned into a bit of a heated debate, which I had no intention of happening. For that I apologize.

@Lehigh96 the '82-CC is still raw and ungraded. It is going to get submitted to NGC and when I get the results in, I will let everyone know.
