Very beautiful! From the pictures, it appears to have lots of luster left on both sides. On a slightly negative note, lots of little tick marks on the obverse. Gold is tough that way.

    Congrats on a beautiful additions!

Thanks. I went for the luster. I agree the reverse is better. The price seemed right for a CAC 64+ so I went with it.

    Picked up the 1904's sister that same day. I always wanted a 1800 $20 1895S MS63 $20 Liberty obv.jpg 1895S MS63 $20 Liberty rev.jpg gold coin. Figured I would settle for MS62 but this one came along.

Can't remember if I posted these or not. Sellers pics. I have the coin in hand, and can't tell if that toning on the reverse is actual toning, or something on the coin itself. My eyes strain to look. At one angle it looks like it's in the metal, the other it looks like it's on the surface. Other than that gorgeous coin.

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg View attachment 461025 I wanted to give everyone a look at this interesting Morgan-
1893-CC, which is the handy work of our determined neighbors in China, that could fool even a knowledgable coin collector! She is 25 grams, and is so close to an actual Morgan weight, that it feels real! Take a look for yourself and tell me what you think. It's scary how good these guys over there are getting at making good forgeries!

I don't know. Scrolling past it I thought it was a fake and I didn't even stop to look at it.

Very inexpensive coin, actually got it for free, but to me it's very attractive.

Some one will buy junk errors.
Then they find out $ was not worth what on market will pay to sell.
