I picked this up on a lark because it looked interesting. Not really a cent guy, so just wondering what others think. IMG_2513.JPG IMG_2514.JPG

MS?, based on the images, a solid maybe. The color, I'm a bit cautious on.

Yeah the color's pretty wild. The coin definitely has luster, the blue is really odd but really cool. here's a couple of closeups, doesn't really look ms but I can't see much wear. IMG_2515.JPG IMG_2516.JPG

That's alright, it's a penny! I just thought I'd share and see some opinions. Think it's a dip gone wrong?

Nah. Dip turns copper a shade of orange you'll never forget if you see it once, and the first time you see it you'll know. It's tragic.

This one's a slider, 64 if it's Mint State. Color is, um, highly questionable be it deliberate or accidental.

    I love it. I'd own it. :)

I see you purchased a coin from the same seller as I did. Mine looks like questionable color as well with possible mid MS grade.

That's funny, he did have a bunch of cool looking Lincolns. Do you think he was doing science experiments or do you believe the story?

Truly not sure, however for being AT they look great in hand. I have seen many AT coins that look absolutly horrible. I can deal with this Lincoln in my collection being AT. I actually tried to bid on the 16 you have here but I only bid $5 on it as well as the one I have here and 2 others he had listed. Only won this one.
