I wonder which extremely circulated US coin you dislike most.
The walking liberty half dollar shows one of the most beautiful designs for sure, but when this coin comes extremely circulated all I can say: Ugly!!
    What do you think?
Do you have other prominent candidates you don't like?

Same here. The gold colored ones really turn ugly.

An abused copper-plated Lincoln cent can be another choice.

Barber coins. They wear very quickly, which finding circulated ones in decent shape is tough. Cruel truth: They look spectacular with no wear; crappy when worn down.

Nothing in US coinage is as ugly as zinc plated cents and SBA's, circulated or not.

A worn Peace dollar, in my book, is right up there on the All Ugly List.

Oh no! Not Peace dollars! Why did you have to say that? I love them. Even worn to the bone they look like history in your hand and they wear pretty smoothly in both sides of the coin. A worn eagle looks almost as majestic as a mint one. :)

Yeah, they totally wear out and get butt ugly on both sides evenly. LOL.

Coins that suffer circulation damage has to include Buffalo nics. How many do you see with dates worn off. As far as unattractive, I love high grade Standing Lib quarters, but when they are worn, they are just homely.

Walkers are a good candidate but so are war nickles and golden dollars off the top of my head. And for classics I'd go with a flowing hair. Those things start to look like bad walking dead zombies in F or lower

Currently struck cents and nickels are going to be horrible with a few years of circulation - yet I can still find 1930s and 1940s dated Jeffersons that still hold up pretty well for being 75+ year old coins.

V-nickels. They don't look good anyway but worse when road hard and put away wet.

I vote for worn lincoln cents. Of all the worn circulated coins, I think I've seen more fugly Lincoln cents than any other.

My first thought was Standing Quarters. To my eye they drop off pretty fast once they hit mid-circulated grades. Looks like there's quite a spread of opinion here!
