You didn't have a transaction. You had to cancel the sale to send a Second Chance. Why/how would/could he leave Feedback?

You don't have to cancel the sale to send a Second Chance offer.

I believe that if you cancel the sale, it prevents him from leaving feedback. I'd check with eBay before doing so . . .

That is the coin. At 14 bucks he is giving me a deal.

What a con artist. Even if it had been "improperly cleaned" that coin is worth a whole lot more than $14. He wants to get it graded and slabbed.

That's his reply when I told him it's still worth more than 14 and he shouldn't have bid on it. Screenshot_2015-12-09-12-36-18.png

Time did not afford him the ability to look at what he was going to spend his money on?

You got off lucky, man. This guy is gonna be a nightmare to someone, down the road. :)

Block him. I would love to buy a few cleaned key coins at melt. I might start using his argument, you never know what kinda deals you might get! haha

I am curious. Not a bad picture. What do some of the sharp eyes around here give to that coin as a grade?

Yup. Should be $75-ish at retail. It's on the "good" side for a cleaned coin, having few marks or other distractions.
