I'd grade it AU. Is that a DDO...? Sorry, couldn't resist either :)

I'm going to call it AU55 only because the nature of the marks hint at circulation to me. The die pair is so old and worn that you really have to fudge the rules of what a Lincoln strike should look like, just to wrap your mind around this one. :)

I agree with the AU55 camp. I may even ding it down to AU53. Pretty pronounced wear on the high points, particularly on Mr. Lincoln.

Interesting guesses so far. Too early to spoil?

Not mine...PCGS just graded this MS64 RB.

    Am I missing something?

Someone was drunk when they graded it?

How bout a pic of it in the holder and look up the PCGS serial# to see if their picture is really of this coin - gotta start somewhere?

Why in the heck does that coin have TrueView pics?

I think that was @SuperDave 's point...I was thinking AU55 as well because of what looks like rub on the high points of Abe face. Other than that the coin looks fairly undisturbed, but has a pretty mushy strike, that being said, if PCGS didn't detect any wear I could see a purely technical 63 at the most.

Says value is $14? So they paid a lot more to have it graded than what it's worth?
