I get it... we all would love to think we've stumbled across a coin or ten worth many tens of thousands of dollars, but there's a reason such coins are so valuable. It's like the people who come were with mintmark-less dimes; it's easier to assume than it is to research or actually learn, especially when the truth relegates the coins to pocket material. The general membership here isn't going to get a kick out of lying to some guy by telling him his extremely valuable coin is worthless dreck. It's simply not going to happen, especially with the type of coins you purport these to be. Even if a few shoot their assumptions from the hip, one of the knowledgeable members will chime in with the truth, but this doesn't happen in your threads for good reason. Personally, I'd much rather congratulate someone on a find than tell them it'd garbage, or argue over the rank stupidity we have, and I think most here feel the same way.

The URS rarity scale in the CherryPickers' Guide from 2009 gives them a 6,
which translates to 17-32 known to exist.
