You people deserve everything he's calling you. Not sure how long I'm going to be able to stomach this forum myself.

Rather interesting that when I search this site for your ever asking about this coin I find ZIP. Perhaps another forum?

You think so? I don't think you'll be missed, either.

Now that would be a tragedy @SuperDave.

I'll offer my opinion provided one has not already nailed it. In that case, I may simply offer up something else.

I have been known to be wrong at which point I freely admit my error.

But on this Lincoln Cent? There's no possible way that the coin has not been messed with.

I certainly hope that the OP actually sends the coin in for examination by a "professional" and then posts the results. I'm not talking about the local coin dealer but a real "professional".

I half expect that it won't happen though. But then, I've been wrong before.

Don't say you weren't told. Some of us actually provided correct, factual answers and if you have to spend money to learn the lesson anyway, well, it'll make you a better collector.

Many just like you have passed through these parts. They don't believe anyone here, so the send it out to the "pros", never to be heard from again. Very telling.

A little bit of common sense might help. Look at the word LIBERTY.

Either you've come around to reality or you're being sarcastic. I can't tell which.

I just read through the Morgan thread and some people said it may be real so send it in. About the error, good for you but is it worth anything? Lost of people said it might be something but wouldn't add much value. As for this coin its PMD straight up. Throw out what everyone else has said, all you need to know is this, if it was struck multiple times, their wouldn't be cuts in the coin.

Ok, now that 8ve read the old RR thread I'm confused. Is/was it your coin or that other guys? And just like I assumed, it was the fact that it was a 93s mixed with everybody's fear of big bad China that threw people but I saw no overly aggressive attitudes minus that guy that owes you (or the op) a slabbed 93s who was filled with conviction. Other than that it was filled with expectedly mixed responses.
And you stayed away because of that?
We're you expecting all responses to be sugar coated with rainbows and unicorns or something? From your statement I expected a full on assult which was not the case. A coin like that, being raw, does deserves a thorough vetting and slight ribbing in today's coin climate. I would expect nothing less personally

Guys this was nothing more than a troll trying to stir up an argument...he did a pretty good job of it if you ask me.

I think it's quite clear who the owner was/is, especially considering the OP's later "you guys are great" response. Even IF he had later acquired the coin, it doesnt matter because he presented it in this thread as if he discovered it, which was clearly a lie. He still could've used that thread as an example of how members can be, and sometimes are wrong, but instead chose to stretch the truth in order to play the victim and try to discredit opinions he did not wish to hear.

What surprised me (in the other thread) it was said that he's a dealer, and while dealer and expert certainly are not synonymous, it's hard to believe anyone with a lick of experience wouldn't know what his cent really is. Perhaps the truth has been stretched in other ways as well.
