Scored a little medieval coin. Just a really nice example. Italy, Republic of Genoa (AD 1139-1252.) Conrad III AR Denaro. 16 mm x 0.77 grams. Cross-dot-IA-dot-NV-dot-A-dot around Genoese gateway dot-CVNRADI REX around cross. Reference: Biaggi 835. Note:Grade: about FDC; precious light patina.
Anoob you bought the wrong coin, this isn't Indian or Burmese or some other obscure Asian coin. I'll take one for the team and take it (and others like it) off your hands so it won't poison your collection.
Thanks bud, it wasn't on the list but the opportunity to save on shipping of the "VII" coin made this happen.
wow, what an awesome medieval. i'm not familiar with that coin exactly, but for the era in general that seems like a fantastic example. i'm somewhat embarrassed to admit i don't know what "FDC" means ....i assume that means "awesome".
