Yes, I heard there's only a few known coins of Saturninus - all aureii... Which means there can only be a few "complete" portrait series collections.

Yea, but that is a published fake, so......if actually gold maybe (and 100% gold) maybe worth $50. Add a few dollars for the work of the artist, maybe $75-100. A genuine example will sell for $15,000 to $30,000.

Yep, I was being facetious. I told the seller that I believe the coin is fake, and the seller didn't amend his listing, and sold it as genuine. I wish eBay would crack down on the fake coin sellers, the same way they crack down on fake Gucci, Prada etc.

Just another reason NOT to buy from Ebay.

Love the story, but by putting it on the cover of your collection's catalog, you're just going to make it more expensive for the coin's next owner... unfriendly! :D

I suppose though, some coin has to go on the cover. This one is a marvellous choice.

What's the worry? From the ad

This item, just like all of my other ones, is genuine,i do not sell replicas, only authentic artifacts. If you have questions about anything regarding my listings, please do not hesitate to contact me and ask them.

I hope the use of an emo indicates that this is sarcasm

Beautiful coin and a neat story to go along with it!
