I found this a few minutes ago going through a bag of nickels, its a fairly high grade 1947 that seems to have a die crack in it, any thoughts on this coins, any idea on what this would be worth, I dont know much about die cracks, of even if this is one. 054.jpg 055.jpg 056.jpg

Grabbed $10 worth of penny rolls the other day and noticed this ender: http://imgur.com/4Yu1efn

Turned out to be a very worn 1920. Was actually the only wheatie in the whole batch - much lower than the normal haul. I can usually pull a common 40s/50s date out of every 2-4 rolls. I probably get one in change about once a week.

There were a couple of red 1959's though, and a slightly above average copper haul.

Looks like one to me but I'm no pro. Nice looking coin though. Do you have a Henning nickle?

First box of cents since returning from deployment. Half were 2015P's but I managed about 8 wheats and a 1904 IHC, so all in all not bad :)

Got a bag of $199 worth of halves all set to be shipped out to the coin counting and rolling companies yesterday. Five 40 percenters...and this cool toned beauty with great luster.

$105 in mostly BU 1978 Ikes yesterday. Also have searched lots of other denominations, but not found much stuff - dimes have been the real bust with no silver, nickels are okay and cents too. Probably gone through another $1500 in dimes, nickels and cents with nothing exciting.

Nice Benny - BTW keep the coin off your paws in the future. Body oils are bad news.

Yeah I was pretty happy with it :)
Things are good so far, though I left home with just a wife and a son only to come back to a pregnant wife and a son :). Don't worry, it's mine :)

$30 CWR Nickels today, found half a dozen brand new 1974-P's (slightly worn stairs, but still all blue mint luster). Also a mint 1965 and a near mint 1961-P. Two of the rolls (blue and faded) had been wrapped in 1974, clearly. There were a few lower quality 40s and 50s coins, and a 1939-P. Oh and two 1943-P war nickels. The minty 74s were the big score.

    $210 in CWR dimes yielded an eyeball headache, a beatdown 1962-D and a nicer 1964-P. Also 5 2009-Ps and a 2009-D.

Been a while since I found a silver dime. Included in the dimes were 11 Canadian dimes, 4 5-Pence coins, a 5-Confederatio Hevletica coin, a 20-Polska coin, a 10-cent Hong Kong coin, and some weird maybe Arabic coin?

Most of the rolls with weird foreign coins were also short, but some other rolls had an extra or two or four. I figure I lost around a buck and a half, or maybe two, but I suppose the two silver coins make up for it.

    Anyone know what this is?

Banks lately have been very slow getting full bags of coins filled, I got a bag of dimes today, last time I was able to get one was 2 weeks ago and I normally average 3 a week most of the year. The bag was better than average with 7 silver Roosevelts so I guess it was worth the wait for a good one.

Hmm. Thanks for the tip. With the word Iran and Google, I was able to pin it down.

My coin is a 250 Rials coin (Feyziyeh School) from the Islamic Republic central bank. They've made this coin from 1979-today, from copper, aluminium, and nickel.

The coin I found is from 1390 Solar Hejir, or 2012 AD. This was fun figuring this out.

Value... 0.008343 US dollars. So 0.8 cents!!!

I hope I don't find too many more of these utterly valueless coins in my bank's dime rolls. One was fun, more would be painful.

Oh, the second roll was also loaded with really nice silvers. No more Franklins though, 2 64s the rest 40%. Probably going to be a LONG time before I find a better $40 of halves to search!

    DeodatusAlp2002 Lowball glory!

Anyway, I have pulled quite a few wheat cents. My little sister tears open a roll and is like "look"! Staring at me was a 1919 (p) cent! Tied for my 2nd oldest circulation find. Also a ton of nifcs, $4 worth of 2015 p halfs I got while dumping. Also staring at me in the reject slot that someone had left was a 1918 cent! I have found 5 40%, and a 1990 s proof!
