There's only one rule: whatever you get, make a good show of pretending to like it. :p

Whatever we'll get we will like it, no need to pretending !!
(a present is a present, its heartfullness is everything)

    Q

PS : I'll send mine tomorrow, as crossing the water might take some time (a pony is quite slow....;) )

BTW, when do we send? My secret receiver is Stateside so no problems with mail. Do we have a date we would like all to have their gifts?

    We're already getting recipients?

Am I correct in assuming the 'Secret' part of Secret Santa means we know who we are sending a gift to but the recipient is unaware of who 'Santa' is??

If so, I'm return addressing mine as if 'Ancient Joe' sent it:p:D

I'm not sure why we call it "secret" Santa. Last year I knew who sent my gift and the person I gifted knew it was from me just from the return address on the envelope. Secret? I don't think so.

I didn't participate last year because I didn't want my address/location known. I trust that my recipient this year will keep that information to him/herself.

Sorry to sound like a broken record but are we already being assigned someone? I figured everyone would sign up first and then recipients would be assigned?

I've been assigning people as they sign up.

Maybe because I signed up early, but JA already assigned me a giftee. My enveloppe is ready to fly away...

Got it. I signed up (on the 1st page) but haven't been given someone so naturally I wondered.
