More than 30 I'm afraid...and my bank acct shows it! Here's one of my recent additions...something about a buffalo with 3 legs??...supposed to be worth something??

I haven't bought that many coins overall this year, but 3 of them were slabbed at the time I purchased them. None of them still are.

Do you crack them all out?

Yes. I simply prefer them that way.

    Interesting...how do you protect them?

Same way they were protected for the nearly 3000 years that people collected coins prior to slabbing...by properly storing/handling them.

Edit: On a less confrontational front (Sorry, I sometimes get tired of defending my viewpoint) I mostly use cointains.

Seems redundant to take them out of a nice warm, safe environment and put them in a "foster home."

    Only joking,coins purchased..yes..coins in slabs..no.

I find it interesting how many folks crack out their slabs. Relatively high percentage on this thread. No criticism intended, just somewhat surprised by the percentage.

With the latest buys I have to amend my number. I'm over 50 now and climbing. I place full blame on those Indians and Liberty's. I will leave buying ungraded MS64's to the experts.
