I was away last week so don't know if this was posted. ANACs has extended their Fall special to Nov. 28th. Ten coins minimum for $119.00 plus free return shipping. Other fees still apply. Promo code is "Limited Offer".
I can't remember off hand but it's usually a lower speed turnaround with the specials but the deal is great considering normal fees. Register with them and you will get all the specials in your inbox. If you are not registered you cannot usually view the deals as you have to log in.
$11.90 per coin with free shipping not too shabby. You just have to be wise on what you send anacs. I have been using them for minor error attributions. I just sent them a few details coins I cracked that don't look details. What do you use Anacs for?
I use ANAC's largely for errors but older U.S. also. Plus my pocketbook cannot tolerate PCGS. I have not tried NGC but did do a lot with ICG in the earlier sending's before I used ANAC's.
Thank you for the update. This will be a first for me with any grader, so I'll let you know what I think.
ANACS is also showing up at coin shows and accepting submissions. They also give deals if you submit at coin shows. No, they don't grade at the coin shows, they simply deliver your coins to headquarters, saves you postage and more. It's a smart move for them b/c I live in a small city 'Sacramento', and none of the other graders ever come here. The representative I met is Cindi Snow Ray and she covers, California, Oregon and Washington. If you live in any of those states, take your coins to her. She's very professional and they even give discounts but I don't remember what they were. I know one of the deals was for modern coins, except gold for $8 a coin. Check out ANACS, they're on the move upward and you don't have to become a member or any of that other nonsense. I was all ready with my coins and the form completed and half my coins were non-US anyways. If you've never used ANACS before give it a shot, I think you'd be surprised.
Good points. In fact, if you ask them, they will give opinions on grades at the shows. Each ANA show I spend some time there, among other things, just chatting. Great and very nice folks
