    Circa 31-30 BC?

also, i was wondering about the color of the coin, in hand it it bright turquoise green, with a tan color underneath not like any of my other bronze coins, is the color natural?

I've seen every shade and combination of green and brown in the patinas on ancient bronzes, so you probably have nothing to worry about. Regrettably, however, some coins do get painted with artificial patinas. If you want to test the coin, dip a Q-tip into some acetone and rub it lightly across the edge. If the Q-tip starts turning green, it's absorbing paint. But if it is painted, it's best to leave it be - stripping it will only reveal a bright, harshly-cleaned coin.

Love the green image. Hope its not artificial. Regardless, leave it alone.

Well, I don't have acetone and couldn't find Q tips, so i used water and toilet paper instead, and just placing it against the coin turned it green.. So it probably is painted.

Ugh. Sorry about that. Just leave it be, but watch it carefully for signs of bronze disease.

Fingernail polish remover is often acetone.
