Another shady Ebay offer

The same EBay seller whose wares started this discussion also has a "silver hoard" on the block for $5,900. Visible are two graded GSA Morgans.

Lol at the "no haggle bonus" in that ones description. I guess if you don't try to talk their price down into the realm of reality you get some copper rounds, 10 silver dimes, and some gold dust (and maybe a gold $2.5; their description is vague). Sign me up! I'll take 20!!!

 

There often can be a very fine line between shams, scams, sucker bait, and simple stupidity. Fortunately or unfortunately, this last one seems to fall into the latter category. Everything seems pretty much laid out so that a worst-case educated decision can reasonably be made, so if someone thinks dropping six grand a good idea, perhaps just to get their hands on a few bucks in copper and gold flake, they've only one person to blame. I certainly don't like listings like this, but the time comes where buyers just have to be big boys and girls, and shoulder at least some personal responsibility.
