Upon realizing I estimated the copper nugget to grade MS68, I'd say it has a good shot at MS69! MS70 is a bit of a stretch,though, because if you look at it long enough you can see at least one or two minor imperfections.
Both beauties from where I sit Bill. I especially like the '94 since I'm currently looking for one and would love a finely detailed example for my LC date run.

I like this idea. I have a set of Washington clads taken out of circulation--the more worn and/or beat up, the better. It's all part of the balance: MS collections, and filler/cull collections.
I said that there was "MD" on the coin, I mean't machine doubling though, not MD as in Machine Damage.
Agree, Probably done back when they thought "cleaning" was good for a coin's value. Nobody would clean a coin that rare now... right??
