Any shot at a 69 or 70? :hilarious:

Upon realizing I estimated the copper nugget to grade MS68, I'd say it has a good shot at MS69! MS70 is a bit of a stretch, though, because if you look at it long enough you can see at least one or two minor imperfections.

I see a 14-D sticking out of the left side. That's quite a good score there.

    I like this idea.

I have a set of Washington clads taken out of circulation--the more worn and/or beat up, the better.

It's all part of the balance: MS collections, and filler/cull collections.

Nah...those are just "floaters" from stareing at it too long.

Spots to left of Monticello? Hits?

Is that MD on the top left of Monticello?

I said that there was "MD" on the coin, I mean't machine doubling though, not MD as in Machine Damage. :)

Presented as a problem coin, it was obvious. Had you gone GTG, I am not sure what I would have said.

Yeah I really like that 94 too. A little porous but not horrible

Agree, Probably done back when they thought "cleaning" was good for a coin's value.

Nobody would clean a coin that rare now... right?? :)
