Found this in a roll. Thought it must have a memory attached to it. How cool would it be if it came from someone in the forum.

Failed love affair. The poor fellow cast it off never wanting to see it again........

That coin, is the whole reason for my existence on this forum. My life long search is at its end. You have, single handily destroyed my only facet to alleviate stress. Now.....I go bonkers!

Love affair with a great grandchild, perhaps...

My eyes are not what they once were, but it looks like "great grandma (something)" plus "1 yr old".

It clearly once meant something to someone; keep and give it a good new home.

Don't fret. It will soon be right back in circulation and your trolling shall continue.

I'm gonna send it back out. It made me want to write my email on one and hopefully people would check it in with where it's been. But with my luck it would just get me spam lol

A gift from a great-grandmother to a 1 year old. Too bad the name is illegible.

Put an ad in the paper lost and found or something like that instead of just spending it. You never know... it may be a many millions to one chance, but it could mean something to someone, perhaps inadvertently spent, and feared lost forever. You've nothing to lose.

Actually, I'd recommend putting it on Facebook saying you'd like help returning it to the now 40-year-old to whom his or her late great-grandmother gave it in 1975 or 76 as a 1st birthday present. Could be cool, could be a dead end, but you won't know if you don't post it.

Well that's what I would love to see happen, but what would be the odds....oh it just came to me. I'll put it on facebook. That's the only way I know to reach millions.

Now that I've also inadvertently dated myself.... ;)

A much better and certainly fine idea... technology!

If you can make out the name so that you can post that, too, I'm sure that would help.

    Ha ha ha....it happens.

I wish I could. I wiped it off best I could and it cleaned up a little but the last word is illegible. oh well.....

Well I guess it's settled then, I'll be hanging on to it for a while. :D
