Most polished coin I've EVER seen

    That my friend is the rare 1945 P Smoothie variety :) feels like Butter....

    Looks like Jack Bauer tortured that coin with a power buffer...:hungover:

    I think it's one of those very rare weakly struck war production proof coins. The large P on the reverse stands for Proof. Probably would grade a PCGS 70

    Did they list this as BU? Nobody was suppose to notice it is XF details with only two diamonds?

    Because we are on topic, why does polishing coins munch up the value? Do you destroy a piece of it, like the thin top layer, etc.?
