I had been tracking this for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. The depth of the strike is remarkable (hammered) and the fields are matte-like to go along with nice luster and color. I was concerned about it being overgraded (67RB) b/c of the hits on the shoulder. But now that I see it in hand the nicks don't really bother me as the rest of the coin's appearance is so nice. Glad I decided to finally get it.

 

Lincolns bore me to death but few in this thread make me reply to them on occasion, thats a lovely looking one.

No pics yet, but I picked up the 200th anniversary white house silver dollar for $15 and a 93 Thomas Jefferson proof silver dollar for $18. With prices like that I could not pass it up. The addiction continues...

 

Congrats! I was wondering who was going to pick that one up. Not many early dates in 67 RB.

 

Not too often I get to add greek silver to my collection. This was being sold at a killer price among others and I picked it as it was the cheapest and the toning.

For XF, that is one fine looking coin!

 

This coin should be a textbook example of what 150 year old original surfaces look like. Was one I hesitated on a bit due to price and resale but I decided it was so visually appealing it should be salable even if at the high end of the price range for the grade

 

Received this in the mail today, at the most recent coin show I attended, I entered a friends/dealers' door prize contest and won this. I do not plan on keeping it if anyone cares


Came with COA also (not pictures for obvious reasons)
